Research Analyst

Research Analysts are responsible for using advanced analytical techniques to interpret data and present the findings to both ChapterHouse and client constituents. Analysts play a key role in the design and development of our market strategy projects.
Specific elements of the role include:
Blue_bullet  Innovative data analysis
Blue_bullet  Primary/Secondary market research
Blue_bullet  Manipulating data in Excel and Access
Blue_bullet  Extracting/Assimilating both quantitative and qualitative data
Blue_bullet  Being a valued member of a team

Our ideal candidate will have:
Blue_bullet  BS/BA degree with a concentration in Economics, Statistics or Mathematical sciences
Blue_bullet  Ability to apply quantitative techniques to unstructured problems
Blue_bullet  Logical and structured thinker
Blue_bullet  Proficient in Excel
Blue_bullet  Knowledge of Access is a plus
Blue_bullet  Genuine interest in and commitment to healthcare
Blue_bullet  Candidates should feel comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment

Market Research Analyst

Marketing Research Analysts are responsible for identifying and gathering market data through primary and secondary research, using advanced statistical techniques to analyze the data and presenting the findings to internal ChapterHouse and client constituents.    

Specific elements of the role include:

Project Management
blue_bullet  Advisement to colleagues regarding the appropriate statistical methods to solve a defined business/research project
blue_bullet  Development of reports containing actionable recommendations based upon the employed techniques
blue_bullet  Act as lead Market Researcher on multiple project engagements at a time
blue_bullet  Organize all project research and data analytics
blue_bullet  Interact with Consultants daily on progress and status
blue_bullet  Manage client deliverables with Graphics department
blue_bullet  Recommend new products and enhancements to evolving statistical methods

Data Analysis
blue_bullet
  Work with complex databases and raw data in Access, Excel, SPSS, and other programs
blue_bullet  Use a range of statistical techniques including cluster, factor, discriminate, strategic choices and conjoint to segment multiple     data sets
blue_bullet  Conduct in-depth analyses using traditional and advanced methods
blue_bullet  Work independently with minimal supervision within a team setting

Research
blue_bullet  Conduct primary and secondary research and data collection
blue_bullet  Consult with clients and private sources to obtain necessary information and data
blue_bullet  Conduct and manage web-based and telephone surveys of various groups within the healthcare space

Our ideal candidate will have:

blue_bullet  
BA or MS/MA with a concentration in Economics, Behavioral Sciences, Statistics or Mathematics research
blue_bullet  Minimum 2 years of work experience for candidates with a BA within the custom Market Research industry or applied use of     multivariate statistics. Minimum 1 year for candidates with an MS/MA.
blue_bullet  Strong analytic, quantitative and critical thinking skills
blue_bullet  Experience in statistical modeling and analysis—including multivariate and conjoint analysis
blue_bullet  Proficient understanding of complex statistical techniques
blue_bullet  Expertise with Excel, Access, and SPSS
blue_bullet  Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities
blue_bullet  Ability to work efficiently in teams and strong interpersonal skills
blue_bullet  Comfort in working in an entrepreneurial environment and demonstrate the ability to function as an independent consultant
blue_bullet  Enthusiasm to grow and develop a new research area within the firm
