Research Analysts are responsible for using advanced analytical techniques to interpret data and present the findings to both ChapterHouse and client constituents. Analysts play a key role in the design and development of our market strategy projects.
Specific elements of the role include:

Manipulating data in Excel and Access
Extracting/Assimilating both quantitative and qualitative data

Our ideal candidate will have:
BS/BA degree with a concentration in Economics, Statistics or Mathematical sciences
Ability to apply quantitative techniques to unstructured problems
Logical and structured thinker
Proficient in Excel
Knowledge of Access is a plus

Marketing Research Analysts are responsible for identifying and gathering market data through primary and secondary research, using advanced statistical techniques to analyze the data and presenting the findings to internal ChapterHouse and client constituents.
Specific elements of the role include:
Project Management
Advisement to colleagues regarding the appropriate statistical methods to solve a defined business/research project
Development of reports containing actionable recommendations based upon the employed techniques
Act as lead Market Researcher on multiple project engagements at a time
Organize all project research and data analytics
Interact with Consultants daily on progress and status
Manage client deliverables with Graphics department
Recommend new products and enhancements to evolving statistical methods
Data Analysis
Work with complex databases and raw data in Access, Excel, SPSS, and other programs
Use a range of statistical techniques including cluster, factor, discriminate, strategic choices and conjoint to segment multiple data sets
Conduct in-depth analyses using traditional and advanced methods
Work independently with minimal supervision within a team setting
Research
Conduct primary and secondary research and data collection
Consult with clients and private sources to obtain necessary information and data
Conduct and manage web-based and telephone surveys of various groups within the healthcare space
Our ideal candidate will have:
BA or MS/MA with a concentration in Economics, Behavioral Sciences, Statistics or Mathematics research
Minimum 2 years of work experience for candidates with a BA within the custom Market Research industry or applied use of multivariate statistics. Minimum 1 year for candidates with an MS/MA.
Strong analytic, quantitative and critical thinking skills
Experience in statistical modeling and analysis—including multivariate and conjoint analysis
Proficient understanding of complex statistical techniques
Expertise with Excel, Access, and SPSS
Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities
Ability to work efficiently in teams and strong interpersonal skills
Comfort in working in an entrepreneurial environment and demonstrate the ability to function as an independent consultant
