Juanita Harrell, Owner of West Georgia Mortuary says that her goal is to offer a new concept in Funeral Service.

Ms. Harrell, a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer has over 40 years of both management and oepration experience in Atlanta, South Georgia and the West Georgia area.

A LaGrange native, she has enhanced her image by striving always to maintain the highest professional standards, the lowest possible service costs and superior service which distinguishes her as one of the most respected leaders in her field.

She holds a B.A. and M.Ed from the University Of Georgia in the area of Psychology and a Degree in Mortuary Science from Gupton-Jones College.

Ms. Harrell retired as an Administrative Assistant and Parole Officer with the Department of Corrections, State Board of Pardons and Paroles.

She is active in several Auxiliaries of her church, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, a Charter Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, a long-standing volunteer of Hospice LaGrange, member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, and several professional orginazations.

She passed the State Examination on the first sitting in Funeral Directing and Embalming.

Ms. Harrell is a "People Person" and she gets the greatest satisfaction in helping her fellowman in any way possible.  She has a deep passion for funeral service.
